Organic Gardens - Why You Need An Organic GardenBy Chris Dailey For years I have grown organic gardens. Living in the high Sierra deserts of western Nevada, it has taken me quite some time to develop techniques that allow me to grow almost any kind of organic crop even in this very arid and dry climate. My love for organic gardening began many years ago ends tapping into my scientific background of biology, I was able to discern many useful tricks from a biological standpoint that allowed me to begin to enhance my ability to grow successful organic gardens on a regular basis year after year. Despite the many tips or tricks that I may have, there is a mindset that is much more important to have before starting your own garden which I will explain to you in the next few paragraphs. This is important in order to ensure your success in your organic gardening endeavor. I think the most important part of the organic gardening process is believing that what you are doing is making a difference. Whether this is for your family or whether this is for the environment in an ecologically based mindset, it is important that you have a goal or a mission that you are trying to accomplish before setting out to make this garden at all. Now this may seem a bit fanatical but if you think about any trip that you have taken, you have a destination in mind and a purpose that you decide on before you ever take the trip. In the same way, an organic garden is not just something that you are going to throw together and try out. It should be something where you can see the and result in your mind and perhaps even feel the feelings of that completion in the near future even before you start out. In the same way that many people find solace in taking a walk in a park or going into the woods with their dogs for a nice nature hike, some people find comfort and happiness by simply getting their hands into the earth and growing something in their backyard or in their home. Your organic garden should be an extension of yourself and the byproduct of this extension will be literally the fruits and vegetables of your labor rich will not only make you happy but feed your self, your family, or anyone else that you care to share this very healthy creation that you have made. On a less esoteric level, everyone should have an organic garden because it creates food that is extremely healthy for you and full of nutrients that you are not going to find in food that is grown for an industrialized nation. You are also going to have fruits and vegetables that are pesticide and herbicide free. This will add to your state of health because these additives will not be going into your system and affecting adversely any of your natural processes. It is not a good idea to drink fertilizer or pesticides, so why would it be a good idea or healthy in any way to ingest it can be very fruit or vegetables that you eat on a daily basis. So a great idea is for every family on the planet to somehow have a source of food that is not connected to the system and is free from the contaminants that are generally placed in the food that we eat on a regular basis. Doing so will not only give you a healthier body, but if you do this in the way I have described, you will have a sense of fulfillment that otherwise would not be there unless you visualized the end result before starting your organic garden and in doing so it will be one of the most eventful and fulfilling creations of your life.
